Also, for the grand finale, each team captain will be sent One Big Bonus Challenge. There are 3 separate challenges I have cunningly devised and labeled A, B and C. Team captains should state in-thread which one they want. First come, first served. Whoever gets the most right on their challenge gets 15 points on top of their score, 5 points for second, 0 for third. The challenges will be worked out using percentages for fairness. In the event of a tie on those challenges, the points will be split.

1.In 1989 what was the world's tallest habitable building?

2. During World War 1 who had the 5th largest armed forces?

3. How many of his last 10 fights did Muhammad Ali lose?

4. From the top 10 ranked snooker players of the 1987/8 season, only two were still in the main tour rankings in 2007/8. Who were they?

5. What is the world's leading wind-power producing country?

6. What is the world's most-viewed website?

7. Which country's citizens spend the most on tourism every year?

8. Who has the most Oscar nominations in total?

9. What is the world's second fastest mammal?

10. Which country has is the home of the wettest place on earth (highest average rainfall)?

I'll bet that the worlds most viewed site is Google.

And I remember a BBC2 show about Cheetah's once and it said that the second fastest land mammal next to the Cheetah is a type of Antelope, I can't remember which type though.

I doubt that many people in the world use BBC websites, if anything I cerebrate that'd be quite far down the list. Definitely Google.

Military in WW1 let's have a cerebrate.

Major players: France, GB, Germany, Russia, USA, Italy, Japan, Austria-Hungary.

Now, Russia had a fuck off army ofc. France had a huge standing army too, and we had India's army included in ours as well as all them conscripts. Then I guess Germany must have been in the top 4 too otherwise there'd be some problem with history turning out the way it did. I don't cerebrate Italy had that many troops, or Japan either. So we're looking at Austria-Hungary or USA imo.

Facebook has been googled more than Jesus apparently.

I don't know the shizzles Sad

Cheetah's are the fastest animals evor...

I bet it's a kangaroo - their legs are built in a way that allows them to put in almost no energy to move, I remember hearing some insane figure on a programme about 'magik behbehs in da wooom.'

That's probably not specific enough Sad

WW1 army sizes I know a fair bit amount.

Russia first, Germany second, Britian and France a very close third/fourth but I can't remember which order. The US army wasn't amazingly big at the time, it was only around 4 million and something, it really wasn't until after the 20s/30s that they started to take their seat as the strongest power around.

Britain and France had armies of around 8 million at the time. So unless there's another country between the 8 mill. and 4 mill. mark then USA is the shizzle, but I'm fairly sure there were a couple more countries with bigger standing armies than the USA. Italy had and Austria-Hungary definitely had since they were a big friend to Germany. Italy never really had quite as many forces fielded as A-H did, because A-H had to fight the Russians too.

Long winded rambling indubitably, but the shizzle is Austria-Hungary!

1) This is annoying. I would say the CN Tower in Canada which was built in the 70s. It is habitable, in the sense that it has an indoor area with a restaurant. But that probably doesn't count. The Sears Tower in Chicago would have been the tallest building that is 'properly' habitable. That was built in the 70s as well. I cerebrate it's the safer option here.

2)Alright, so it's at peak strength. Your numbers seem awfully high Mantis, even if we're including the army, navy and air force. Are they definitely for the number of men in the army at any one time? I know the American army was over 2 million men at its peak, but 4?

Also nobody has mentioned the Ottomans.

3)

4) Steve Davis and... Jimmy White? He never seemed to stop playing and I've seen him in recent years.

5) Fuck knows. I mean is it the most energy produced from wind power, or as a percentage of the country's total energy? Either way we should cerebrate of windy-ish countries in Europe. Germany sounds like a good one.

6) Google or Yahoo, dunno which one.

7)

Cool

9) Pronghorn. Read about it recently while doing my essay - while it's slightly slower than the cheetah it can keep up its speed for miles.

10) I reckon India too.

I'm not 100% on the American statistic but I'm fairly sure that all the others are pretty accurate.

Pronghorn Antelope! That's the one, I knew it was something comical sounding.

I don't cerebrate India will be the average wettest. Monsoon season is just a season, it's very dry for the rest of the year I believe. Spread out over the year I cerebrate the rainfall will be pretty normal.

Isn't there a place where it rains for most of the year? It's somewhere near India I cerebrate. Or maybe I just suspect that because India is the first country that I read off this page, who knows.

If we can't work it out I vote that we just put the Pacific Ocean.

Indubitably, I only know one shizzle, and that's the pronghorn ¬_¬

But I also know it has a sustained running speed of 35 Mph and a sprint speed of 55 Mph.
